Darren Smeath, the man behind it all and CEO of our four Brisbane Skin and Laser Clinics. After completing a postgraduate degree in Health Sciences Majoring in Ergogenics, Darren commenced his career within the health and wellness industry with the global Pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca. He worked with this company for over 9 years before venturing into the Aesthetic world with US based company Allergan, the producers of Botox and Juvederm. For the past 12 years, Darren has guided the company while also sitting on the board of other industry leading companies such as RegenMed Pty Ltd.

Doctor Zac is the Medical Director behind Brisbane Skin & Laser Clinics. He has certainly made a name for himself with 15 years of industry experience as a nurse combined with qualifications in a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney! Dr Zac’s medical expertise is highly sought after and his valued role in our clinics ensures the highest quality medical practices and outcomes for our clients. His passion, extensive knowledge and expertise in his field finds Dr Zac on Media Platforms regularly discussing all levels of health, cosmetic treatments and wellness medicine.

Meet Trinh, our longest running staff member and most Senior nurse at Brisbane Skin and Laser Clinics.

Her journey with us began 14 years ago at our opening day where she worked as a Dermal Therapist while also completing her nursing degree and registration. Fast forward to today with 17 years of experience up her sleeve, Trinh now leads our nursing team in their training as a Senior Cosmetic Nurse. While her extensive skillset and industry knowledge is impeccable, it is Trinh’s eye for perfection and passion that sets her apart from many other treatment providers in Brisbane. 

Her clients will tell you not to hold off booking an appointment at your earliest convenience as her books fill up fast! You will find Trinh at our very busy Springfield Clinic at the Orion Shopping Centre and don’t be fooled by the origins of her name – this sassy yet caring nurse with her strong American accent will have you in stitches. Once you experience her services you won’t go anywhere else for cosmetics again!

The brightest, most bubbly manager you ever did see is how we like to describe the beautiful Dom! With over 17 years of experience in the beauty industry and 5 years with us at Brisbane Skin & Laser Clinics, Dom is filled with knowledge and expertise. Dom is a fully qualified Dermal Therapist and Laser Hair Removal technician. You will find her at our very busy Springfield clinic managing daily operations and helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals. Dom’s favourite aspect of her job is taking her clients on their own journey with their skin and getting them excited for their personalised treatment plan. Her all time favourite treatment that we offer is skin needling – she loves it just as much as she does Italian cuisine!

Maddy A.K.A our Lip Queen! Treating and enhancing the lip area is not only Maddy’s passion but her forté. With over 8 years of experience as a registered Cosmetic Nurse, Maddy prides herself on the way she approaches each client’s goals and their individual transformation process.

Maddy’s first priority is building a solid relationship based on trust between herself and her clients as she believes that “good things take time”. To achieve the best results, Maddy utilises all the tools we have on offer to achieve the best result possible.

Maddy is inspired by her mentor Dr Julie Horne who has made a name for herself as an international Lip Specialist and hopes to one day create her own legacy as Australia’s Lip Queen for future aspiring aesthetic nurses. 

You will find Maddy across both our Windsor and East Brisbane Clinics.

Registered Nurse Haley brings an abundance of knowledge and skill to the BSLC team. She began her career in the industry as a dermal and laser therapist over 15 years ago, before going on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing. Haley’s passion for aesthetics brought her back to the industry where she now approaches her clients concerns and goals holistically to enhance natural features and achieve a refreshed look. 

Haley loves to educate her clients on the importance of nurturing their bodies from the inside out. During your treatment you can trust you will learn how to achieve the best results by taking care of your inner health and implementing a personalised skincare routine. Committed to helping people, Haley also works in the Neurology department when she is not in the clinic.

Meet our lovely Registered Cosmetic Nurse, Breanna. She joins the BSLC team with a wealth of knowledge and commitment to professional development. Breanna completed her Bachelor of Nursing in the Australian Defence Force where she worked as a Medic. After completing her degree and working in the Surgical Ward for a year, her passion for aesthetics led her to complete Cosmetic Nurse training. 

Breanna has now worked as a Registered Cosmetic Nurse for over a year and actively engages in ongoing training to keep her knowledge and skills updated. She creates a safe and comfortable environment, investing time in understanding individual goals and concerns to help her clients restore natural features and achieve their desired results. 

You will find Breanna across both our Redcliffe and Windsor Clinics. Breanna is currently on maternity leave and will return shortly.
