This is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that exfoliates the skin, treats clogged pores and reduces surface congestion. A diamond encrusted handpiece, combined with vacuum suction works to gently remove the layer of dry skin cells to improve your skin’s overall texture and quality. This deep exfoliation promotes blood flow and collagen production.

Pre-Treatment Instructions
- A thorough skin consultation must be completed by one of our Dermal Therapists to ensure suitability for treatment.
- Advise your therapist of recent antibiotic use.
- Advise your therapist of any acne medication use within the last 12 months.
- Advise your therapist if you have an active cold sore or are prone to cold sores.
- Avoid prescription retinoids/Vitamin A for 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
- Avoid cosmetic injectable treatments for 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
- Avoid invasive laser treatments or laser hair removal 1 week prior to treatment.
What to expect post-treatment
- Possible redness.
- Brighter, hydrated skin.
- Event ready skin.
- If you have underlying congestion, you may experience some breakout in the days following your treatment.
Post-Treatment Instructions
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- SPF 30+ must be applied for the days following your treatment.
- Continue use of active ingredients 5-7 days post treatment.
- Avoid facial waxing or hair removal treatments for 1 week post treatment.

How long does this treatment take?

This is dependent on which microdermabrasion treatment you are having, our treatment times range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
Is this treatment painful?

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procedure. The vacuum pressure and speed are adjusted depending on the sensitivity and tolerance of the skin. Microdermabrasion is often compared to the feeling of a cat licking your face, a rough but gentle texture.
How long before I see results?

The best results will be seen after your first few treatments, we highly recommend regular treatments to maintain healthy, glowing skin. This treatment can be used in combination with other services, we recommend a treatment plan for a minimum of 3 months with regular treatments and homecare products.
Can I have this treatment if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Microdermabrasion is completely safe whilst you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We can tailor this treatment to enhance results, whilst still ensuring safety.
